Generally the next question for homeowners is "What Happens Next?" Well organized home remodelers will determine whether your remodeling experience will be pleasurable or a disaster The Following is a summary of how Unique Builders will develop your project from start to finish.
1. Contact our office and we will schedule our first appointment to fit any time constraint.
2. One of our design consultants will visit your home to discuss your needs, plans, and discuss your project designs.
3. Depending on the scope of the remodeling project, your consultant will present various designs or present a design agreement. The design agreement allows us to have our designer/architect to devote the necessary time that fits your budget, meets local building codes, and overall design requests.
4. After the final design is chosen a construction contract will be presented with a line item construction budget for your project including windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, etc.
5. While construction drawings are being prepared for city approval, we will be discussing specific details such as colors, light switches, door swings, kitchen designs, etc.
6. Once permits are issued, your project manager/superintendent will provide you with a schedule of construction, which will outline what will exactly happen next.
7. Our goal is to facilitate a open communication throughout the construction process. The more information brought to the homeowner, the better the homeowner will feel about the project.
8. Our construction crew throughout the project will be professional clean and courteous. Each of our employees take pride in their work and craftsmanship.
9. The project manager will be working to keep the project moving on a timely basis. Weather delay or building inspections may cause some delay. We absolutely try our best to meet the project completion date.
10. Upon completion of the project, a final walkthrough will be conducted to ensure completion of our high standards and to ultimately ensure our customer's satisfaction.
